You’ve probably heard it uttered by someone trying out the new Precor Adaptive Motion Trainer® (AMT) with Open Stride. We’ve been hearing it since the day it was first introduced. Our previous AMTs redefined elliptical exercise, but when people take a few strides on our new AMT with Open Stride, most simply exclaim, “Wow.”
Exercisers won’t have to wait for an elliptical, treadmill or bike since Open Stride can deliver similar workouts.
Open Stride lets you not only change the length of your stride but also the height, providing an infinite variety of motion paths.
Go vertical and it’s a stepper. Increase resistance and it’s a climber. Then go more horizontal and walk, jog or sprint with a stride length that goes up to 36 inches (91 cm).
Open Stride™ is a unique feature that allows exercisers to adjust their stride height from 6.8 to 10 inches (17 to 25 cm) and dynamically change their stride length from zero to 36 inches (0 to 91 cm), providing an infinite range of motion paths to engage several muscle groups. In addition, users can make their workout easier or harder by adjusting the resistance, there are 20 levels to choose from.
For once, one-size-fits-all is not a compromise in performance.
The engineered flexibility built into the new AMT means that no exerciser has to spend time adjusting the equipment or settling for a machine that doesn’t quite fit. The AMT with Open Stride fits virtually every exerciser regardless of size and fitness level, while providing an infinite range of motion paths that will deliver the workout they want.
Tell us your “Wow” story. Maybe it’s the popularity of the AMT by members that makes it the hardest working piece of equipment on the cardio floor. Maybe it’s an inspirational story of fitness achievement by an exerciser. We love to share!
