Good, not great
I agree with a lot of what Sherry Rex has in her review. I bought the Precor 5.17 in 2007, and it was very good. It was comparable to the quality/feel of a Precor in a health club. I considered the 5.31 this time, but it was a bit longer than what I had before(5.17), and was not going to fit on our floor pad. The 5.25 is not as solid/sturdy as the 5.17, and feels tougher/tighter to pedal, even at the lowest levels. If this is the first elliptical you have in your house, it may be just fine. If you are used to a nice Precor at a gym, you may be a little disappointed with the 5.25. The delivery and installation was very good though. Three guys delivered it, put it together, and discarded the trash in about an hour.
