Dash for Cash at the Rock ‘n’ Roll San Jose Expo

Interested in making a difference in the lives of those affected by blood cancer? Join us at the Precor booth in the San Jose Rock ‘n’ Roll ½ Marathon Expo on September 25 – 26, where we’ll be showcasing a few of our home treadmills. Anyone, not just race participants, can hop on a treadmill and participate in our Dash for Cash, which directly benefits The Leukemia and & Lymphoma Society (LLS).

What is Dash for Cash?

The premise of Dash for Cash is simple: Either run, walk, or jog your way to one mile (or more!) on our Precor treadmill at the Expo, and we’ll donate $10 to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

Not only is this an easy way to contribute to an amazing cause, but also, you’ll get a chance to get a last-minute practice run in on one of our state-of-the-art treadmills before the big race. Did we mention that we’re the Official Treadmill of the Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon series?

What can $10 do for LLS?

$10 may sound small, but rest assured that all donations make a difference in the lives of blood cancer patients and their families.

Your contribution of one or more miles completed on our treadmill equals $10 that will help a LLS-funded researcher to grow cells in a lab for a week, to understand how well a new blood cancer therapy might work. Also, $10 raised for LLS’s School & Youth Programs helps LLS invest in cures for kids with blood cancers. All in all, your contribution is greatly appreciated and its value is quite infinite.

Is it too late to sign up for the San Jose Rock ‘n’ Roll ½ Marathon?

Nope, you’re in luck – it’s not too late to sign up for the half marathon! Use our special code to save $20 off online registration before September 20.

We can’t wait to see you there!

About LLS: As the world’s largest nonprofit organization committed to funding blood cancer research, The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society supports and improves the lives of patients and their families. Nearly every 3 minutes, one person in the U.S. is diagnosed with a blood cancer, including leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease, and myeloma. Your contributions can really make a significant impact on the lives of these patients.
