A great machine that makes working out enjoyable

This machine is comfortable to use, easy to operate, and has a range of settings that provide a challenging workout. Haven't had it long enough to judge durability, so far so good. My husband assembled the unit with no problems. (however he is an experienced and very capable do-it-yourselfer) One of the comvers was damaged upon delivery, but no issue as the broken part was replaced by Precor without a hassle.

I was introduced to the Precor line at my gym. When my wife and I decided to purchase exercise equipment for our house, Precor was our first choice for an Elliptical. We have not regretted the choice. This is a great machine. We chose to put it together ourselves. Overall it wasn't a horrible experience and took about 2 hours. The machine is easy to use from the Manual setting to the many different programs. The ability to set up 2 unique user settings is a nice feature. The machine is sturdy and will surely last us many years.

This is an outstanding elliptical trainer. My wife and I use it daily at home and love it. I highly recommend it for anyone looking to augment their running with another aerobic workout.

Extremely smooth operation and feel. Very low impact. Great crosstraining machine for when I am preparing for a marathon........great primary machine for an all around challenging workout.

Smooth, quiet. Well manufactured. Squeaks a little at first until the wheels break in. Looked at several different models and felt this was best for the price point. Traded in gym membership that was lightly being used for home elliptical which is getting much more use. Started with a Lifefitness machine that didn't make it past the day. Sent that one back for this one, paying more money and have no regrets. This machine will be useful for a decade or more.

We have been using Precor equipment for our home gym almost exclusively since 2001. This is our second 5.33...we purchased it in 2011 for a 2nd home and did not consider any other brands based on our positive experiences from our first 5.33. We went with Precor again partly because of the improvements made to the older 5.33 - 15-30 degree adjustable incline, more room for holding magazines, drinks, accessories, etc. The motion is very smooth as expected and we know we will get a solid cardio workout with increasing resistance...we are looking forward to many years of use from this!

The delivery personel were professional and polite. They took the time to level and adjust the equipment. The device's motion is smooth and quiet. plenty of features the family won't out grow this any time soon.

Down side: The elliptical is much larger (longer) that I realized and unfortunately I'm not using it as often as I had hoped. Need some motivation.....

it feels smooth. it's relatively noiseless. it feels sturdy. it self -corrects missteps. i can't judge durability because it is just one year old.
When it gets bumpy, i clean with a slightly damp cloth the ramps and then it runs smoothly again.

Lots of mechanical problems/defects when we bought it and had it installed. All is now fixed and we generally enjoy the machine!

We both use it regularly, and have your favorite programs!

We did a lot of research on different elliptical machines. We have tried many different types at various gyms throughout the years and felt that Life Fitness and Precor were the best ones. We decided to purchase a Life Fitness top of the line machine, got it home and decided to return it and got the EFX 5.33. We love it. It was a lot more money than we wanted to spend at first but we decided in the long run to go with lasting quality and it was worth getting the top of the line best quality home elliptical and felt this one had it all. We are so glad we bought this machine, you will not be disappointed! The only thing we wish it has was a reading for mileage.
