Anytime Fitness to Open in Cannock
The world’s largest 24-hour fitness club chain, Anytime Fitness, will be opening in High Green, Cannock, and will be located within a unique mix of retail and business units, moments away from Cannock High Street.
The 5,580 sq ft gym, managed by former regional competitive 400 meter sprinter Peter Arnold, will feature 30 pieces of Precor cardiovascular equipment, including two new Experience™ Series EFX® 800 with converging CrossRamp® and four treadmills, all showcasing the new P82 console and fully networked with Preva. Providing entertainment for exercisers along with exercise and goal tracking and equipment usage and management services for Anytime Fitness Cannock. Members will be provided with a Preva token which is a RFID enabled key fob that is linked to Preva networked fitness and enables them to follow their progress and keep motivated. They simply swipe or tap any networked console to automatically sign in to their Preva Account, gaining instant access to their favourite workouts, fitness goals, progress milestones and rewards.
The gym also features a Queenax™ wall unit along with seven-stations of Precor Vitality™ Series strength equipment, three plate loaded machines, a power rack, two Concept II Rowers and a Smith machine.Â
The fitness facility boasts an indoor cycling studio and will be offering a combination of instructor-led fitness sessions, as well as virtual classes using the Wellbeats system, providing over 200 classes on-demand. Insanity classes, a cardio-based total body conditioning program based on the principles of MAX Interval Training, will also be available.
Arnold, who has worked in the fitness and leisure industry for over 15 years, comments: “I have managed sports and fitness facilities in the area and will be using my extensive knowledge and understanding of the sector to create the best member experience possible. The club is built around the community and we want to ensure every member has a unique and positive fitness experience when they visit. Â

Anytime Fitness Cannock will be open 24-hours, seven days a week and will be staffed from 10am to 4pm Monday to Friday, and from 10am to 3pm Saturday and Sunday. Part of the larger Anytime Fitness Health and Fitness club family, members of Anytime Fitness Cannock will be able to access over 3,000 gyms worldwide with 112 located in the UK.
