Yateleys Health and Fitness Gym

The not-for-profit Yateleys Health and Fitness Gym, located in the grounds of Yateley School in Hampshire, has replaced its equipment.

The 2,664 sq ft fitness facility, comprising of a weights area, separate Experience Series CV zone, a small functional training space and a dedicated studio for classes, now showcases a state-of-the-art range of Precor cardiovascular and strength equipment including the addition of a Precor Discovery Series half rack and a Discovery Series Pin-Selected leg curl, along with ten Spinner® Shift bikes. 

Debbie Warne, Sports and Leisure Manager at Yateleys Health and Fitness comments: “The gym has been here for 27 years, has a small, personal feel and a great community environment and over the years our membership base has increased to over 1,500. The end of the old equipment lease gave us the perfect opportunity to invest in modern machines and provide the best possible environment for our members. The new strength half rack and leg curl machines were previously missed by both personal trainers and members and their addition considered a huge improvement.”

The studio timetable features 42 classes including 12 Spinning® classes offering over 120 Spinning spaces per week, all led by fully trained Spin instructors, with two having recently completed their Level II - Advanced Spinning Instructors certification.

Warne continues: “Precor was one of three brands we considered.  It was the ergonomic functionality and the fact they provided us with trial machines so we could obtain member feedback that convinced us to use them.  The Precor team has been very helpful, professional and looked after us extremely well during the transition.”
