  • For additional security, hold on to the handrails and connect the safety clip to your workout clothes.
  • Walk naturally with an even gait.
  • Breathe normally and reduce speed if the challenge feels too great.

Walk faster, stronger and longer by doing these 3 simple lower body strengthening moves after your treadmill workout:

  • 2 sets of 10 squats
  • 20 walking lunges
  • 20 calf raises on the stairs
