Queenax™ of the Week: Plyo Platform Power Sequence

Achieve an ultimate strength and power training workout using your bodyweight and the Queenax Plyometric Platform. This full-body circuit alternates between high intensity movements sand controlled bodyweight strength movements using only one training optional. By using only the plyometric platform, you will be able to complete a high intensity workout within a small space without having to make adjustments to the height of the platform. Complete each exercise for 30 seconds and rotate until you have finished all five movement. Allow one to five minutes to recover before going through for your second round. Be sure to include a dynamic warm-up prior to beginning and allow adequate time for cool-down upon completion.

Movement Guidelines

Angled Push-Up


  1. Select training angle.
  2. Position hands on sides of platform.
  3. Perform a push-up, keeping neutral spine.
  4. Avoid leading with head.

*Amplify this movement by placing feet on the platform with hands on the floor to perform decline push-ups. 

 Multi-Planar Box Jumps


  1. Adjust platform height.
  2. Face platform and jump up, focusing on soft, quiet landings.
  3. Jump down laterally.
  4. Jump up laterally.
  5. Jump back to starting position.

Dips with Bent Knees


  1. Face away from platform.
  2. Position hands on edge and bend knees.
  3. Bend elbows and keep them close to sides.
  4. Press up to return to starting position.

Step Ups with Jump


  1. Adjust platform height.
  2. Face platform and step up.
  3. Explode upward and jump.
  4. Step down from platform and repeat.

Toe Taps


  1. Select appropriate height for platform.
  2. Raise one leg up, bending at the knee and tap to top of platform, return to starting and repeat with opposite leg.
  3. Perform alternating taps at tempo maintaining neutral position of the upper body.
