Precor Video: Coach 5K Speed Improvements

Mary Edwards, Fitness Director and Professional Trainer at the Cooper Institute, shares training tips on how to help your clients improve their 5K race time. Using focused 30, 60 and 90 second work intervals, this training program focuses on pushing performance by improving anaerobic threshold and VO2 max. With proper training, improving a client’s top speed will also help them be able to maintain a faster race pace.
